About me

Our little girl

I turned 50 a few years ago , and have been married for 34 years this year, we have 2 grown up sons, one who is married to a beautiful girl and one who is not, married, I mean

We have a gorgeous little Cavoodle called Braandi, who goes everywhere with us except when we go out to restaurants or when I go shopping.

I enjoy painting with oils – Genesis, when I have time, I enjoyed sewing when my boys were growing up, in fact I made everything they wore except shoes and socks, I love making cloth dolls, card making, paper crafts in general, and my latest crazes are mixed media crafts and calendars, annual and perpetual handmade.

We have to wonder where did the time come from when our kids were little as we achieved so much with so little time and money.

We (Grumpy and I) are boaties (we try to get out on our boat every weekend), living in Mandurah in Western Australia makes it so easy for us to get out on the water, we see dolphins every time we are out on the water, and they put on spectacular shows when we have visitors from overseas and around Australia.

I love boating, going to restaurants, am an avid reader and I absolutely love my audio books, I have been collecting them for about 20 years now and Granma, very generously a couple of years ago, converted them for me from the old cassettes and cd’s to mp3 and mp4, so now I have hundreds of gigabytes of audio books.

As you may have read, I LOVE clothes, fashion, jewellery, perfumes, and anything girly or feminine.

I work in our company full time, 5 days a week at the moment, we get up at 3.30am in the morning to beat the  traffic and it can be a long day sometimes, and we have worked 17 hours a day sometimes 7 days a week.

I just wanted you to know that tgillespie27 nominated me for the Very Inspiring Bloggers Award, and I in turn am nominating you. I love how no matter the age, or what, style is important to you. I am a stay at home mom, and I also feel that you should look your best. Too many women just go out in sweats, and looking sloppy. I don’t understand it. You are blessed to be a woman, take advantage of that, and look like one. You also keep me laughing. So thank you.
